The burst pouch is the most advanced technology available for packaging two component pre-measured liquid and paste systems. These easy-to-use packages are safe, convenient, reliable, and precise. Packages can be any mix ratio in sizes from 2 grams to 6 pounds. The burst pouches are used to package epoxies, urethanes, silicones, adhesives, greases, lubricants, and inks in a wide range of viscosities for both industrial and consumer use. The burst pouches are manufactured with a newly developed tri-laminate barrier film which is highly resistant to chemicals and most epoxy systems. A burstable membrane seal is installed across the package separating the part A from the part B, requiring deliberate pressure to burst the seal allowing both components to mix.

Mix ratios of  100:1 to 50:50 can be achieved by varying the location of the burst seal.

1.5” x 5” outside dimension with the burst seal 50:50 ratio    (will hold 2 - 4 grams)
2” x 6” outside dimension with the burst seal 50:50 ratio   (will hold 5 - 6 grams)
2.75” x 8” outside dimension with the burst seal 50:50 ratio   (will hold 10 - 20 grams)
2.75” x 10” outside dimension with the burst seal 50:50 ratio   (will hold 20 - 30 grams)
4.25” x 8” outside dimension with the burst seal 50:50 ratio   (will hold 30 - 50 grams)
4” x 10” outside dimension with the burst seal 50:50 ratio   (will hold 50 - 70 grams

Custom printing with up to 8 colors can be printed directly on the package with your company information and or instructions. Plain or printed outer packaging is also available.

Our research department has developed 8 different films designed to safely contain a variety of different epoxy and chemical systems. Our technology also allows a variable burst pressure depending on the size and flow of the product being packaged.
